Annual Rising Star Showcase featuring some of the top talented middle school athletes from Maryland and surrounding areas held each year in Frederick County, Maryland. This showcase event is an all day jam packed full schedule of games at the end of the winter middle school season generally held the second or third week in March.
 
Frederick County athletes are selected in several ways. Athletes are either chosen by our Rising Star selection committee or athletes are welcome to submit their name for consideration to be selected.

Highly competitive teams from surrounding Frederick County areas are invited to participate in this winner take all one day tournament style showcase. 

The addition of the High School underclassmen games for High School Boys and Girls athletes continues in 2026. Athletes in grades 9th - 11th will be considered and selected to participate in the Underclassmen Showcase. Use the 2025-26 HS Underclassmen form below to submit your student athlete for consideration.
